Stalling Problems on an '86... Please help?

I have a 1986 MR2, and recently, my RPM's are getting so low when i'm in neutral that my engine will stall... even when i'm going like 60, pulling off the interstate. this happened 5 times tonight. when i'm sitting still, i have to keep my foot on the gas to prevent it from going too low and stalling... any info on what it might be, maybe some DIY advice? any insight is appreciated. email me at frank@burningtreeband.com
thanks
Frank

If its carby, try adjusting the screws to feed it more or less fuel? Maybe it needs a tuneup

already tried adjusting the screw for the throttle, and all it did was raise my RPM up to 1200-2000 for about 2 weeks, then the RPM slipped down again.

turns out it was a vaccum leak.... i re-sealed it at the boot and adjusted the fuel mixture so i'm running about 750 RPM at idle. runs fine now. thanks for the input.
