Ok, I just talked with someone who has an MR2 on his property that's been sitting forever. I asked if it was for sale, and he said it was; but only as a package deal. Here is what the package consists of:

First one is a 1985
Silver exterior (rusty quarters and such)
Black interior with deluxe grey/black seats (interior is mostly all mint!)
5 speed (said to be fine, haven't driven yet)
Factory spoiler
181150 miles
Factory triangle wheels

Second is a 1986
Red exterior (little 1/4 rust on pass side, not much rust elsewhere)
Black LEATHER interior (mostly mint, needs cleaning)
Power EVERYTHING!
5 speed (said to be fine)
Broken sunroof, windshield, and side window (has been covered)
Factory spoiler
156976 miles
Trailor hitch (weird!)
TRD header
TRD suspension
Rebuilt motor with about 6000 miles

AND he said that he has a powerhoned .20 over 16v shortblock with TRD pistons, TRD connecting rods and a 'full floater' wrist pins!!

Get this; he wants $750!!!! I'm going back today to get them, I'll update when I can!!

Cars are paid for! We can't get the red one till the 27th though, as it is stored away. Here are pix of the 1985. It has MINT seats (need cleaning), mint dash (no cracks), and lots of rust!

Ok, I checked out the 86 today... .... .... it's been sitting for about 10 years; not a few.

Someone swiped the side skirts already, it has some rot in the passenger 1/4 maybe elsewhere, the interior is dirty... it's gross!

I think I could get the paint to shine again easily though!

The motor will be going in my SR5, and the header on my MR2.

Here are the pix. I still think it's a good deal!

I wonder why the dude never kept those ol skool MR2s in good condition? He had two of them too, he could of had some awsome racers there. OH well they are in good hands now. Good luck with them

He said that he used to race the red one, and he bought it new!! One owner! haha

Someone busted the windows on the red one about 8 years ago, and he bought the silver one to transfer the glass from, but just never got around to it.
