Project idea question

I was thinking of getting an 88 supercharged Mk1 and slapping a turbocharger on it. Has anyone ever done that? And if so, is it worth it?

In addition to the twincharge kit, there are people that have removed the SC and installed a turbo.

Yup, craig, one of the other guys who works out of the mr2guru shop is doing this exact thing. He has a 4AG with cusom pistons, rods- the works- and a tiny Greddy turbo. If you are more interested in the project Im sure you could get him to take some photos for you.
