2nd Generation t3/t4 Question

Hey guys i wanna know what will be the best size back housing you should put on a t3/t4 turbo for my mr2 and will there be alot of lag ?

Well i am no geek at this but if i am not wrong I think a .50 trim will spool really fast
but you will have low top aceleration but you could put a .60 wheel at the exhaust side for
better result but you will have more lag at low rpms in the other hand you will gain a good aceleration at higher rpms so depends what you whant it for drag,street use,hill climb,auto X etc..If i am wrong plz some one correct me.

i have a 50 trim.. .63 a/r...full boost hits at around 3500-4000 rpm (i can't remember its been too long since car has been in top running shape)....a little lag but its streetable...

Best for what?

There are different sizes for different purposes.
Do you quickest spool or maximum power?

Injectors support horsepower levels, not turbos.
With a smaller injector you will have to run less boost for less power.

The 550 Supra injectors will be good up to about 330 rwhp or so.

well how about we can ask this 1...what kind of racing are you going to do cause if it is just on the streets i would say power usually people drag like wussies and do it from a roll = downshift yay high rpms

stock block can take much abuse. but with a T3/T4 you will need the supporting mods to handle ANY additional boost via larger IC, Fuel enhancement. keeping detonation in check is the issue. not boost pressure
