91-95 SW20 3SGTE turbo cluster conversion wiring PLEASE HELP!!!

here is what is going on my buddy has a 91 mr2 that was not turbo and after blowing his engine he decided to swap it with the twin turbo engine and did. the swap went smooth all the wiring and everything was done and everything runs and works great. he wants to install the mr2 cluster with the turbo gauge in the speedometer and he is having problems doing it. i was wondering if anyone here has done that and has a write up on it or if anyone knows the wire scheme for the cluster. please respond anything will help thanks again!!!

First, there is no twin turbo engine that was OEM. It a single turbo

Second, what year was the swap (i assume he put in both the engine and tranny)...

in 93, the gear based speedometer cable in MR2s was relaced with an electronic sensor.

CORRECTION THE SWAP CAME FROM A 4TH GEN SINGLE TURBO W/ ELECTRIC SPEEDOMETER
(as you can tell i know nothing about toyotas and too much about hondas)
the mr2 is a 91
the new cluster he got is electric (he had to convert from cable to electric during the swap)

so if anyone knows which wire controls the turbo gauge or has a write up on this conversion please let me know thanks!!

are you simply trying to hook up the boost gauge or are you having trouble with the entire cluster?

The factory boost gauge blows, an arbitrary indication of actual boost.

If you need help with the gauge cluster, i installed my own cluster after my 93 swap and electronic speedo were already installed, it was very straight foreward.

hmm I have a question with the same...I had the 3sgte swapped into my NA MR2. I also bought a turbo cluster. Both are mechanical. Everything is hooked up, however, my tach does not move at all, unless I get on it...then it'll move slightly...any suggestions?
