My speedo is not working, i have a A/T, iam asuming that the guys just forgot to connect something because the tranny was replace not to long ago. Also my O/D lights flashes alot after driving the car for a while, Can some one tell me where the speedo cable is or the connector, or if u had this problem a little help please.

Sounds like speed sensor to me. I had one go out on my Legend and the gear indicator would blink as well as the speedo intermittently working.

the same thing happened with mine... i took off the instrument panel and the speedo cable is right in the middle. if you have a slip diff you should be able to jack up one side and hit the gas, you'll see the cable turning. if its been cold where you are, the cable might be siezing up, just squirt a bunch of lube down there while its turning... wd40 works.

The speedo cable is a heavy looking cable that looks almost like a coolant line that runs closest to the drivers side engine mount. If it's anything like the manual transmission the speedo sensor is pretty much right above the rear motormount.

What year is your car? '91-'92 had a mechanical speedo sensor and '93+ uses an electronic.

Your instinct of checking to make sure that it's actually plugged in after a tranny swap is a good one. I wouldn't start tearing your dash up until you've verified that everything is in place. Have you talked to the transmission shop to see if they'll fix what is likely their mistake? If it was working before you went in and now it's not it's extremely unlikely that there's anything wrong with the dash or the cable itself.
