Exclamation Clutch help!!

I was racing all night and when i was about to go home I press the clutch to start the engine and when i de-press the pedal the pedal was stuck down it didnt came up i had to pull it up with my hand. so when I was shifting the peadal was coming only half way up then i had to pull it with my feet.When i got home the pedal comes up normaly but when you press it hits the pedal wall really fast and dosent do anything i cant get it into gear i am stuck in neutral.I hope is the pedal cable.......

sounds like ur clutch is gone or the clutch pump is dead.

We have hydraulic clutches in our cars. it's probably the clutch master cylinder or/and clutch slave. even if it's just one of those components, the other one is probably not far behind. I recommend changung out both units...they can be rebuilt, but I would get new ones ..
as for a temporary fix, you might try changing the fluid in the system. it's probably very old and/or contaminated making it lose it's ability to hold pressure. that may or may not work. all you can do is try and it won't cost you but some fluid.

You bleed it from the slave cynlinder that's next to the front engine mount. If you boiled the clutch fluid swapping out the fluid might just do the trick.

All you need is some normal DOT 3 brake fluid.
