in my 91t mannual, it calls for a bkr6ep8 number on for the spark plugs ( ngks of course). i bought a set and they have bkr7e on them. Can these be a newer brand of ngk's for the mr2's or are these plugs the wrongs ones?

those should be okay in ur car...same ones i use....

"7" in the BKR7E indicated heat rating of the plug.
The higher the number, the colder the heat rating.
The colder plug works better in high boosting engine.
Stock 3sgte is "6" heat rating.
BKR7E will work fine and should be better when you turn up the boost.
The only drawback is you might have a little trouble starting (longer cranking time)
when the engine gets really really cold. (which shouldn't be the case in CA)

thanks guys. now i can switch out the bosches that snuk thier way into my engine...LOL
