How to install cold air intake.

Howdy all, quick question for ya'll.I bought a cold air intake with the K&N Filter and didn't get any instructions on how to install that sucker. It looks pretty easy but if anyone could tell me how they did there's I'd appreciate it.Also, there seems to be some wires attached to the old filter box, what or where do you put them on the new one.My car is a 91 N/A.Thanks.

There should be a hole in the intake tube for the wires to go into. I think it's the MAF sensor. Even my cheap ebay intake had one. If there's no hole, you will have to make one, but get better info first. I, admittedly, don't really know all that much.

As far as the install, it's pretty straightforward. Unscrew the clamps for the couplers, take the old box out, put the new tube in, re-attach the couplers, enjoy. I had to make a brace for mine, because the filter was rubbing on the bottom and developed a hole. It's not that hard, if I can do it, anybody can.

^ It's actually not a MAF. It's only an intake air temp sensor.

When you pull out your air box you may find a ground from the tranny bolted there. Make sure that gets reattached.

You'll also want to pull the resonator that's bolted to the firewall off so you're getting as clean a flow as possible.
