Oil Filter Question

I was going thru a bunch of junk and came across a brand new Toyota oil filter. I can't remember which vehical I bought it for. I'm wondering if I can use it on the '91 MR2 Turbo ?
Here's whats on the box:

Oil Filter FO-8
08922-02011

Engine application:
.1G series
.VZ series
.22R series(JPN,EUR,USA,CANADA)
.JZ series
.M series
.3S-GTE(Celica ST165 only)
.2TZ-FE

I was wondering why I couldn't use it on my 3-sgte? or can I?
Thanks Guys!

It will bolt on.
It's a smaller old style filter.
The newer one (90915-YZZA1) is a bit taller.
It will fit easier with the 3" downpipe but may be less flow capacity.

As long as you're not in a situation where you're regularily driving the car on the track and high oil flow is absolutely essential then you're probably fine.
