some (slow) progress... pix

"new" engine:




from a running 86 ae86 (which that car got a motorswap for more power, not running issues), changed some seals/gaskets/waterpump/belts.... etc


the mr2 "shrine" (all parts on/under this are from mr2's... and i have tons more parts)... the tranny on the right is the new tranny for this car


rear (cheap ebay) miata coilovers installed... full height


in the car.... now it just needs a crank pulley, driver side mount, bolt on the starter/exhaust manifold then it *should* start


front coilovers done too... really should cut the perch & have it welded lower.... when i change strut inserts on it i will do this as well

"rebuilt" the starter to working specs

with starting fluid.... she lives.... either FP or out of gas.... gas light is on and the car is at a forward angle... gonna get some gas in my can tomorrow....
