Every MR2 owner should experience this!

The Hose from HELL. Mine developed a leak, so I had to tear into it. All I can say is DAMN! so much work and effort for such a little hose...anyway, While I in there and had so much stuff out off the way, I decided to install this modified CT26. It has a different compressor wheeel and has been rebuilt. I had it verified by my tech freinds that it has been rebuilt. the compressor wheel is obvious-though I don't really know what to expect perfomance wise. but my old Turbo was wearing out at 156K miles. Excessive oil coming thru the outlet.anyone wanna take a crack at what I can expect from it. if anything...here are comparitive pics.
the rebuilt one has 7 blades and look like they may have a different angle compared to the old one with 5 blades...I'm not expecting much from it, but it will surely be better than my old worn out one..I look forward to your opinions

Not 50".
You probably meant 50 trim
Trim has no unit because it is just a ratio of inducer/exducer wheel.

Only way to know is to take off the compressor housing and measure it.

Here is how you measure the trim:

Lots of good read here
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html

Every turbo car owner should at least once take a turbo apart.
It's fun and make you more appreciate in this amazing piece of engineering.
Buy a used/shot turbo and start disassembly it!
Let the fun begin!

By the way, more of "hose from hell" and "hose from hell on earth" here

You're welcome, Russ. Nice to meet you too.
Just like others, trying to help fellow 3sgte owners as much as I can.
