was running, waiting for thermostat to open...

and later:

drove it a couple blocks (no exhuast.... open header) and felt alright...

pretty stock (egr removed, JDM manifold, early bigport from an ae86, c50 from another mr2 owner)... new battery, new pads/rotors (all around), replaced the 2 lines to the clutch (soft & hard lines after the chasis) with a single SS braided line, cheap ebay coilovers (for a miata) bolted in.

early miata..... first gen

in those pics.... the rear is at full height and the front is fully lowered..... i need to get new struts, and when i do I will cut the perches off and have them welded 1-1.5" lower so i can utilize the coilovers

different cheap brands have different upper coilover perches.... this set just happened to have a set that the fronts sit differently (what do you expect for $40 shipped)
