Internal or External coil pack?

hi guys...i went to my local partsource yesterday to get some plug wires for my 92 N/A and the guy asked me if my coil pack was inside or outside the distributor...now i'm guessing its external to it right? cause my distributor has 4 wires going to plugs and then a 5th wire in the middle going somewhere else (to the coil pack?)....before i go and order the wires i just wanted to make sure...thanks

depends on the year..... late 92 model cars could be considered 93.... and on one year it was internal the other external...
