2nd Generation OEM radio - part number change...

this is regarding the Toyota Corolla 99-02 AM/FM/CD unit (1DIN) that fits in our MR2 (MKII)..

This radio - # 86120-02150 seems to be replaced with a new part number...
#08600-000907. List is $446 at the Stealership ...I cant find any in the junk yards around here and all the guys that run them are total idiots with a swelled head syndrome.

So does anyone know what this # 08600-00907 radio looks like - or is it the same as the original with just a new part number??

Did you get this number from the stealership? I can't find reference to it anywhere.

Yea..my kid works for a Toyota Dealer and when I gave him the part number...they came back with the NEW part number.

List was like $446. But guess what?

its no longer available...odd since it fits a 00 camry.

Oh well..I just went and got an Alpine and was done with it!
