I found the problem with this, I am pretty sure.
The stud/nut, which is facing
<<<<< direction in the picture above, and is also facing down, Hard to see in the picture, is missing.
Bottom left corner of header in picture.
There is no stud there, nothing, just a hole.
This hole is not the cause of the leak, but it is keeping the header from getting a TIGHT seal.
I found a bolt, by extreme luck, that threaded right into this hole easy like, with no force needed.
I was very easy with this bolt, and it starts to slip when it is almost fully seated.
This bolt goes inside, and is the same size as the other Studs in Length.
The bolt will not get tight though, it will get firm, but not TIGHT.
Even Semi_Tight though, the leak problem is so much better.
I went back to the shop, told them all this, and this was the advice given.
Go to toyota, order both the stud, and the nut for this hole, since the stud is at least not broken off blocking access to the threads inside of the head. Which means that is GREAT NEWS.
That should fix the problem. as the bolt alone, had made things MUCH better, but still a tiny leak, and the bolt was just to see if the threads inside were there, or blocked off by a broken stud.
Also; the person who did the work said the gasket should not cause the leak, he still had plenty of thread left on the bolts, which went on the studs, after he torqued things down.
Will See, as I am off to order a stud and bolt from Toyota, and hoping I am on my way to a leak free header.
