Headlight not popping up?

Hey guys...for some reason my passenger side headlight on my 91 USDM NA stopped coming up recently...the bulb still lights but the housing just doesn't raise...I remember when I bought the car the previous owner told me there is some way to reset the motor through an adjustment knob and this usually solves the problem...is this true?...does anyone know how to do this? i'm really hoping I don't have to buy a new housing motor..thanks

there is a knob that you can use to manually raise and lower them...if they don't work on their own..most likely will need to replace the motor itself...

Mine doesnt work from time to time, but only because the housing is poorly attatched and catches the bumper on its way up...

every now and then ill have to get out and free up the light so it can rise.

maybe this is your situation too? I just dont have the time right now to fix it, but i will soon.

I had the same deal as Dane. All I did was take the black housing off and reattach it. That, and threaten anyone who sits on the front of my car again with great bodily harm.
