New MR2 Project

I just recently purchased a non-turbo 1991 Toyota MR2 with about 180k on it. She's going to need work. I'm new to working with Toyota's so, I'm sure there is several of you out there who have worked on them and know loads more then I do.

What is the best way to get power from this car? Go the 3GSTE way and swap out the Non-Turbo engine?

Or, I've heard a few people who have kept the block from the 2.2L Motor and swapped it with the 3GSTE Head....whats more fun? Whats more economical etc?

Help.

you'd be better off getting a 3s clip, you can go the stroker route, but you will still need quite a few of the turbo components (head, inake manifold, exhaust, turbo, intercooler, piping, transmission, etc)... basically you'll still need all the turbo parts but the bottom end. so yeah i would just suggest that you save up & get a turbo clip.
