Hey Guys,
I am currently looking for nice MR2 Turbo. I had my NA for 3 years now and I think it is time to upgrade now.
I met this guy and he is selling his MR2 turbo. The cars look great and has low miles. I test drove the car and it feels good. Then he drove and takes me for one fast ride and took a mean curb. I was like, wow!!! I was not scared because I felt this guy knew his car. I was right.
During the ride we talked about MR2 and etc. He later told me that, this meeting is an interview too. I was happy he said that because I feel that way about my MR2 too. I will be selling it when get a turbo.
I thought this was a cool experience to meet someone who cares about who he is selling he car to. He want someone whom will take care of it. I guess it do not hurt, that i drove my MR2 to he place to check out his car. I must say, my MR2 looks pretty d*m good.
I am ready to buy it from him. I will find out sometime this week. (I hope.) I was ready to buy yesterday. I had my checkbook ready. I think he is checking to see how much he can get for it too. I was ready to pay him his asking price.
Sounds like a good deal if the mileage reflects the car. Everytime I've sold one of my two's and watched it drive away, almost cried but it never looked so good...
Hey Guys
I just got the turbo today! (I passed the interview.) Only has 65K on it. I am loving it. 1st gear is a little different than Non-Turbo. I am loving it. It needs some touch up paint and detailing. I will also do the 65k service check. I will send photos soon. I am one lucky cat. It will still be hard for me to sell the NA.
1st gear is different, until you get the hang of a turbo. You'll learn there are 2 throttles in them, one for lag and one for boost. Manipulate that turbo! I'll never forget the first turbo I drove, I thought the damn thing was sick!
