Need new brakes... are these on ebay any good?

I need all new brakes. I'm going to buy:

4 rotors
4 sets of pads
4 calipers
Stainless brake lines

I found these rotors on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-88...QQcmdZViewItem

Are they worth it? Sure are cheap...

If not, what rotors should I get?

What pads should I run?

Lastly, are these lines good?

Probably just drilled OEMs. I have a pair of "magnum performance" cross drilled for the rear, but I can't get in touch with the company to get the matching fronts.

While i dont know about the ebay things, those Goodridge SS brake lines are some of the best, they have an outstanding reputation, in addition JC Whittney is a reputable store.

Are your calipers beyond rebuild? You can get rebuild kits for all four corners for ~$50 total.

Rebuilt calipers are pretty much as good as new. If you want 'em to look good you could pull all the rubber boots and stuff off and get 'em media blasted clean. Just a couple suggestions to save you some $$

From what I've read and heard, crossed drilled rotors are mostly for looks because drilling the rotors cause it to lose integretiy of the whole rotor. Under severe braking the rotor can crack. The slotted brake rotors are better to use. The grooves are cut into the rotor but it still keeps it's integrity.

that is not necessarily true either. slotted rotors were created to vent gasses built-up under braking when organic pad compounds were used. they also 'cut' the glaze built-up under the heavy duress of braking in a race situation. the cross-drilled did the same thing, but didn't 'cut' the brake pads. you know, all of this talk of cracking...this is a debate that can and does go on forever. i have crossdrilled on the rears of my SC. i have not had a problem whatsoever. i use Metal Masters pads on the rear and i do have to heat them up in order to parlay the brake pads' ability to stop. i also have my brakes rear-balanced. yeah, it's a street car, not a purpose-built racecar, but believe that this car sees lots of threshold braking on a daily basis, autocross use, and the occassional romp on a road course.
