power antenna

Antenna goes up fine, but when it goes down, the motor keeps running. Is there a relay or a switch that can be replaced that is supposed to stop the motor?

thanks,
Jeff

It doesn't sound like the slipping problem because it doesn't have any trouble going up or down. It just doesn't shut off right away after it's all the way down.

i believe the only way that the motor could keep runing is if the teeth are striped or getting stripped. i guess i would look at getting a new mast for it im sure its around 60$

bought a new mast but it wasn't the problem.

found out that the plastic pin that holds one of the gears inside is broken.
