Unhappy MR2 Air Bag

I just had a new battery installed. My Air Bag light now stays on. Toyota wants me to bring it in for a diagnostic check, $80. Anyone have any shortcuts to get around this?

Its killed your battery two times? That sounds like a bad alternator not charging the battery.

That is what you do to reset the airbag ECU.

The terminals are located under a cap labled "diagnosis" in the engine bay.

Wouldn't pulling the EFI fuse accomplish the same thing with less futzing around?
