I've never seen this one before!! This is the first kit that I've found that I actually like!! Wish it wasn't SO expensive, but it sounds like it isn't a mass-produced thing. I don't want the spoiler though... but I would guess that isn't custom made; just off the shelf to compliment the roundish kit.
does the post ask for constructive criticism? NO. further it's pitifully round for an angular car. is that rear skirt 'scoop' functional? no. the only thing that looks like it's worth a damn is perhaps the rear. the front os also too round. i think the wing looks like absolute garbage on the car. not only that, but knowing how the air flows over/under/around the car, that thing does NOTHING for aerodynamics. why didn't they fix the side intake scoop? i mean, yeah, use the 87+ and it's fine, but why not? the front does nothing to spoil the air around the front wheels. isn't the whole point of an aerodynamic kit to produce/create better aeordynamics for the car??? form follows function.
so before you EVER give me crap about constructive criticism...
IMO anyone willing to produce ANYTHING for a ~20 year old, low production car deserves some props. True the spoiler doesnt match the car but it does look better than the stocker.
In this case I dont think aero matters all that much. Really how many MKI owners even get near speeds where air flow becomes important. The MKI really shines in tight corners at speeds where aerodynamics have little effect.
Just be happy anyone produces anything for such an old car.

funny thing is that the MkI doesn't really feel so good in tight corners (my opinion). the car feels so much better suited at speeds where some aero IS useful. at midcorner, the car isn't always so wonderful. yeah, you can go into a corner hot, but carrying speed or making better exiting speed isn't so easy.
yeah, i can appreciate the aftermarket, but sorry, that kit doesn't look really good at all. maybe for the carshow type...with all of the hype...

i'm with toyotatechgeek..... the sides look terrible and are nonfunctional..... the rear is ok, and the front would be much better if at the very least the center bar in the lower openings wasn't there....
and handlaid fiberglass doesn't mean much... if it's big sheets of glass then it's probably over resined.... if it's from a chopper, it's probably over resined.... and you didn't mention if it was vacuum bagged..... IE, easily cracked/broken

do you actually know anything about the mk1 or are you just trying to voice an uneducated opinion?
and one of my mk1's reaches speeds that match and pass an mk2 turbo.... so, uh, yeah functionality should be over form.....
and if you guys want to congradulate someone for making parts, don't make the appreciation shown to the mass production companies trying to make money.... make it to the guys who make parts in their garage and are more interested than just making money

It's a nice kit...couple things that would make it look nice. First off car has to be lowered a nice set of deep dish for those fender flares and keep the stock rear spoiler.
This is still hands down the sickest mk1!
Here is one of my other favorite. I have the rear bumper but would love to get a hold of the front lip.
