My MR2 3sgte piston rings went out.

whats up. so yesterday my mr2s piston rings went out. number 1 and 2 only have sum 30psi of compression when i added oil to the cylinder it brought up the compression to 60psi. im now looking to completely rebuild the engine. i was looking for sum feedback on some pistions, rings, and rods. good and bad . im looking to build a strong reliable engine drag/street with 300-350hp. im not looking to buy a crazy expensive turbo maybe tdo6 ct27 or t3/t4. also where can i get an adapter plate for the turbo flange?
thanks

when i rebuilt my motor..i went with arias pistons...eagle rods..also went with titanium retainers...hks valve springs..arp studs...with the turbo kits you are interested in...ATS racing sells complete kits that would be good for your setup...

Thats shitty that your rings went bad! But if your hp goals are around 300-350, your stock block should be able to handle up to 400 tuned right! Maybe if you want a little work done to your bottom end, you could get the rods and crank balanced. I'm not sure how much that would cost tho... Also on the adapter plate for the turbo flange, I would try ebay first. If nothing is on there, I would search google or ask.com . But good luck to you on the rings and such.
