my MR2

1991 Toyota MR2

stock n/a body with stock 14" wheels...

hmm, what are these gauges doing here? (boost on left, EGT on right)

2.1L high compression stroker 3SGTE. if it weren't for being super loud, it'd make a pretty good sleeper, i think...

Brakes:
Porterfield R4-S pads
Motul RBF600 fluid
Goodridge braided SS brake hoses

Suspension:
1993 MR2 springs
Tokico Illuminas

Interior:
Greddy 52mm electronic boost gauge
Greddy 52mm electronic EGT gauge
TRD short shift kit
calfskin shift boot

Engine:
2.1L 3SGTE with lots of goodies in it - hand built by yours truly
ceramic CT26
KO Racing downpipe
Spearco sidemount a/a IC

that's the quick list. i'm sure i've posted a more complete list of engine mods around somewhere, but that gives you the general idea.

-Mike

Nice looking car man!

I love the placement of your boot gauge. Not being able to see the trip meter would annoy me though.

yep, i posted them a while ago in this thread: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t142249.html there should be a parts list in one of my later posts in that thread also. link to pictures is in the first post. i did pretty much all of the work myself, from the engine build to the actual swap process. well, i had help from some friends, but all labor was free.

bowlofrice - i'm still not quite sure exactly what turbo i'll be putting on in the future, but i'd like to see around 350whp at about 17psi, maybe even on pump gas... but for now, the ceramic CT26 will work just fine.

central - it's all true!! i haven't really launched the car yet, though, so the 14s are still more or less intact. i still have a couple hundred miles to put on the clutch before i launch, if i can wait that long...

gairloch - yeah, i'm really happy with how the gauge placement worked out, and they work even better from the driver's seat, they just don't photograph well. or maybe i just suck at taking pictures... oh, and as far as the tripmeter, my speedometer cable broke a long while ago, so when i was doing the swap, i just pulled the whole thing out. so everything behind the EGT gauge does nothing at all, haha.

thanks for the kind words guys!! i'll keep you guys updated as i make more progress on it.

-Mike
