brake rotor turning Q?

are aftermarket drilled and sloted rotors ready to be put on right out of the box or do they need to be turned? i just recently changed all four corners and without thinking about it, i put them on my car anyway. they're BRANDI rotors if that helps. thanks.

Ready to go out of the box, I don't think, but don't know if you can even turn drilled/slotted rotors.

How does the car stop?

any brake rotor should be ready to go when you take it out of the box. just clean off the oily stuff on there and slap 'em on.

The interrupted cut on a drilled or slotted rotor can cause the cutting bit to break. This may be the reason some shops shy away. If a light cut is made, this should not be a problem. But it takes more time to do the job.
