Console cracks - can I repair?

I've got a few small tears/cracks in the black leather (or is it vinyl?) console (the thingie where my right forearm rests while I'm shifting) in my '86 MR2. Is there any way to repair this, or should I just put black tape on it and be done with it?

I would call a local body shop and ask if they can repair vinyl or recommend someone that does then get a quote.

You can look in the Junk Yard for another one. That's what I always do when part of the interior wears out in one of my cars. Seems the other slob always wears out a different part first.

Fill it in with gorilla glue, even it out, and paint it, or get it reupholstered.
