It fits in, however, to do it properly you are going to need:
*engine
*wiring harness
*turbo tranny
*ECU
*axles
*gauge cluster

You might want to look at www.paautoracing.com as they specialize in these swaps.
Good luck.

Honda people dont mix well with Toyotas. Things are just too different. You cant just swap any motor into any car, Toyotas have class (I drive an Integra, Im sad now)

Is he a hondaboy? Cflow, what's going on here? Did you trade a 2 for an integra?

I will say that every honda guy I've ever been in the car with COULDN'T drive. Scared the crap out of me. I contribute 75% of mr2 deaths to people like that. Let me elaborate on honda/all people who can't drive/don't understand how to drive (learn your car's physics people!):

Enter corner, floor gas, jerk wheel

or, as a friend of mine that can't drive did, drive downhill, pick up speed, at top of bump in road jerk wheel hard and say "look how good the handling is!"

Yes, I was scared and pissed off at the same time. People are stupid, very very stupid.

it is a direct swap as long as you buy a clip. you need the ecu, axles, etc. expect to pay $5k ish b/c you will also need to address the fuel pump and new clutch.

its worth it. my friend has a h23a accord. you will feel torque unlike any you have ever felt before in a na honda engine. my car is at 268 with simple bolt-ons at 4k rpm. and its not even at 100%.

**** but b4 you do anything learn to drive your non-turbo ****

i no longer let other people test-drive my car b/c too many have almost put it into someones front yard. understeer vs oversteer. its a different animal.

It could be that the CRX is a better car ... for him. Not eveyone is wired to adequetely appreciate mid-engined goodness.
