I had what is called "brake fade." Basically the brakes get too hot and can no longer change kinetic engery (rotating wheels) into heat. Teh results is you do not stop ... you pathetically slow down, but you do not stop.
Any exhaust will shoot flames, you just need to have your car tuned to run rich and hte exhaust has to get hot enough. Flames may look cool, but it is a sign that your tune is off.
Dan's car in the video is running very rich on throttle lift which is why it shoots flames when he shifts or slows down.
