worth it, or not?

so im looking at this 88 SC i've been putting together all week that i pulled from the junkyard with not one, but two rods done. white t-tops, needs a bit of body work, but still looks good and still solid. got 17" rims. just got a new set of eibach prokit springs this morning, along with and hks FCD and boost gauge. 240$ for all 3. i also have an hks turbo timer which im pretty sure is going on, was saving it for another car.

i put an ae101 4AGZE in, mostly stock replacement, i wanna drive it NOW. having some problems with the vacuum lines, need a throttle cable, new gromet for one of the shifter cables, some small things like that left.

i put an NST 180mm crank pulley on, used the timing belt tensioner off the old engine for a smaller tensioner. anyway, wondering if the FCD would help me at all in this car? if anyone knows, dont really wanna spend time putting it in for nothing. i've got more time than money wrapped up in this thing, just looking for an opinion. im also considering a tweak for the maf sensor i was reading, gonna put stright pipe instead of the cat once it passes e-test

people who have used the nst pulley have claimed that they do run more lean with the factory ecu

if it were me, i would go the easy route and get an adjustable FPR and bump it up like 5-6psi or so

im putting an AFR gauge in, i wanna keep an eye on that for sure, along with boost. i figure if i keep an eye on those and figure out what ima do about it. i'll probly be looking at an MSD setup if i start to think its a problem

thats still not what im asking though, is it worth my time and effort to hook up the FCD
