looking for more info on gen 2 roadsters.

Hey lads, I've been thinking of acquiring a weekend topless car. I've seen gen2 roadster/spyders when I was in Japan, I know there are no roadsters/spyders elesewhere in the world, but I really want to know more about it before I decide to take a trip to Japan and find this uniqe gem.

do some searching on this site and mr2oc. there have been plenty of threads. iirc they were all na and made either just 1999 or 1998-1999 and number in the hundreds. i would be afraid to see the resell value.

i think keith tau from rpm garage has one. sells rare used mr2 parts on ebay.

from what i've read..there are around 38 mk2 spyders ever made...only two ever left japan and are in the UK somewhere....none have ever made it to north america...very rare.....
