2nd Generation

My overall objective is to make about 350 relaible daily-driven whp without hurting my 3rd gen in anyway....just enough to pick up the front wheels IMHO.

For 350 rwhp, you should check out the Spearco Air-2-air intercooler.
Even the GReddy would suffice, but the Spearco is better.

... and not to burst your bubble, but 350 HP will not be anywhere near enough to pick up the front wheels.

The last time I checked, I think the Spearcos around $1000 for a complete kit.

i ended up paying about $1200 shipped for the spearco sidemount kit w/ spal fan. it was either pay that, or wait a few extra months... if i waited, i believe i could have gotten it for about $1000.

If you are only planning on 350whp you might want to look into the Berk intercooler. It will cost you 1/2 the price and do just fine. Plus it comes with shrouds, fans, couplers, clamps.. etc.

Well.... I'm sure Turbonetics has some. http://www.turboneticsinc.com/

Or you could go with TurboHoses upgraded Spearco IC. http://turbohoses.com/mr2_turbo.htm

Turbonetics is based out of the Valley... so the drive wouldn't be too bad if you wanted to pickup. And Turbohoses is in NorCal.

Spark plugs are the same between the Gen2 and Gen3. I would reconsider getting the Greddy SP exhaust if you are shooting for 350rwhp. It has an inside diameter of 60mm (~2.4") which will become a restriction as you go for more power. If you plan on making 300+ go for a 3" exhaust.

I'm running the TKO 2.5" dual exhaust and I've been very happy with it. The 3" TKO would definitely meet your goals. Pretty much any 3" exhaust will do, your budget and personal taste will determine which one is best for you. Check out http://www.madpsi.net/MR2ExhaustsPage.htm for a list of specs and pictures of pretty much every MR2 exhaust out there.
