have you put this thing on the dyno yet? is your megasquirt dialed-in yet? you said besides tuning...hmmm, tuning is going to be the key, dude. the 20V is all about revs which makes it a terrific candidate for the dorifto crowd. sustained revs. as for drag racing, hmmm, i don't know. maybe with the new engine you are still a noob at say launching the car.
No tuning has really been done. I'm running so rich it smells like raw gas behind the car. Problem is, I don't know how to tune, nor can I find anyone to help me with it!
in the stone ages of engine tuning, i was taught that 'lean is mean'. of course now the engines can and do suffer from predetonation with catastrophic results. if you are running that rich, hell yeah you are going to be slow. you need to get on a dyno and at least get a baseline AFR map and a dyno plot so that you can tune. many times the dyno operator(s) know how to tune. now you have a megasquirt, well you will have to find someone who can support the tune there.
get a tune. i'm sure right now you're running way less than stock horsepower in that thing. oh, preignition and detonation are two seperate things. they have many similar effects on killing an engine quickly, but they're not quite the same, hehe.

looks like it needs better gear ratios..seems like it revs and revs but not going any where all too fast.....get your 60' times under 2.0 and you'll see better ETs...
Something doesn't make sense. Your best run had your worst 60ft, and your worst run had your best 60ft. 2.6 60ft is pretty nasty, and you're saying you had relatively no wheelspin? Your traps seem kinda high for mid 16s....
Call me crazy, but I think you might want to try a different track. These times just seem weird to me!
