i have a question for you. i have a amp mk2 like yourself. i recently got a set of used red bomex sides. i was thinking of spraying them gloss black and throwing them on. it kind of looks like your new sides are black. how does it look with the amp? thanks.

btw i look forward to seeing hyde on sept 9

There is a lot of black on Hyde now ... it's been growing over the years.

The hood, headlights, front bumper, engine lid, engine side panels, trunk, spoiler, aeroware vents, Chaser sides and Border rears are all black.

The fenders will be soon ...

I suspect having your skirts black will be fine as many cars have black lower portions.
I actually had the compelte aeroware kit in black on Jekyl for a very long time until I got it painted. You can see that here:

thanks for the opinion. the more i look a hyde the more i like how it has both the black and the amp. i think it looks meaner having the combo of colors.
