First of all.... you aren't a vendor.... you should probably be PAYING to advertise your company here.

Second.... there is another company in SoCal offering 2nd Gen LSD swaps for $2,800 OUT THE DOOR for a limited time. I was charged $800 labor for my FLAWLESS swap.... no way in hell I would pay $5k for a 3rd gen swap. Just my opinion.

mr2_dori.... you are practically my neighbor and I'm an MR2 fiend and know tons of people out here that can get you anything you need at a good price. If you need anything ask me.

mgd_only.... you are practically my damn neighbor too. Same applies for you... if you need a swap done let me know. And if you need smog for said swap (or any other car for that matter)... lemme know too.

But yea.... basically your prices suck... and you aren't paying to be here so I may as well point it out. Furthermore I wouldn't take my car to a place that has a "showroom".... because they will probably charge $2k more than a good "shop" would.

Well... I've told you before that it isn't likely that you will pass smog with an MK1.5... but you can give it a shot.

For motors... I would go in this order.

JPR Motorsports
La Habra
562-690-9316
Ask for Jimmy - Tell him Russell with the red MR2 sent ya .

If he doesn't have one try his brother...
R1 Motoring
San Gabriel
626-282-7226
Ask for Raymond - Tell him Brandon with the Silver NSX sent ya

Next up in line would be...
C&T Japanese Engines
Ontario
909-923-5589
Ask for Dennis - tell him Russell (ishcoleobo) from the boards sent ya.

ETL Garage (gets a lot of his stuff from C&T)
La Habra
909-802-3156
Ask for Jeevy - tell him Russell (ishcoleobo) from the boards sent ya.

No luck STILL!?!??!?! (not sure if he always has motors on hand)
MR Inspire
Irvine
PM Me for a cell #.
Ask for Sky - Tell him Russell sent ya.

Desperate??? I hear good things, but their prices are steepish.
Integrity Auto
Pasadena
626-449-6035
Ask for Danny - tell him Russell (ishcoleobo) from the boards sent ya.

If you are looking to have work done, I would go strait to Sky or Jimmy. Great prices and quality work.

Anyone have any info like this for the NorCal area? My 93 NA needs a new engine and I'm just looking for another 93 (or equivalent) 5S-FE.

You wont be able to legally smog it. They dont make USDM 3rd gens, JDM only. Everyone and their mother do JDM swaps nowadays just because its "japanese". Kids are stupid.
