I prefer to mount amps under the hood. How many cars can you mount amps under the hood, and how many people out to steal your system will look under the hood?

If a larger system, or I must have the spare tire, I would use the trunk next. Unless the trunk is needed for T-Tops, or Intercooler, or your girl starts complaining about no where to put her stuff.

Behind the seat is fine, just be careful, take your time, and there is LOTS of insulation behind that carpet to get through before you hit metal.

Should work fine. Toyota puts them under the seat, on the passenger’s side kick panel, in the trunk. Check that the seat fits up OK and there is something behind the panel to bolt onto. The engine compartment works but it does get hot, most electronics like it at room temp.

I'd put it up front too... or pull the passenger seat and see if there's enough room under there. Behind the seat is where the T-tops go. Oh, wait, you've got a sunroof car, right? Nevermind. Still better to have it elsewhere lest it interfere with moving the seat.

Neither of my sub boxes or amps interfere with the seats at all!
