Possible gearbox upgrade???

Hello
Need some advice! My 91 turbo has whining diff bearings, so sooner or later will need to get them replaced.
We had a 89 turbo in at work the other day with a loada mods, one of them being a rev4 gearbox.
Im wondering if its worth the hassel of stripping apart and replacing my bearings, or getting a different box all together, such as a rev4 box.
Does anyone have any ideas for a good road to go down?

The 1993+ MR2s have upgraded dual syncros and often an optional LSD.
It is a very worhtwhile upgrade, but you will also need at least new innerstubs for the axles if you get the LSD option.

The Rev4 MR2s, since they came even later, would obviously have this upgraded tranny.
