Would it make any sense in rebuilding a 5sfe with all new performance internals to increase maximum horsepower(for the reason of running it all motor)? And if so where could i get these parts or where could i send the engine to?

what are you looking to spend is the big question. My engine guy down here in FLorida has built a bunch of high HP motors. the motor he built for a friend of mine is a 300 whp B18C1 turbo for an Acura Integra. He just finished the work on an all motor B18C1 300 whp. It all depends on what you want to spend.

i am willing to spend no more than 5k. I really want to keep the stock motor but with all new internals for better performance. All motor!!!

it'd be better to start with a 3SGE and then work on that. if you really want to do a 5SFE, you'd need high compression pistons, plenty of headwork, larger valves, and big cams. that's all the internal stuff that'll help.

High compression piston, cams, port and polish. Lighter and stronger connecting rods helps too. Balance everything. You'll be around 200HP at the crank with everything.
