GT-S is a 90 model from japan. The rear pannel is a special edition replacement also only available in the japanese market. Gold badges, no idea probably aftermarket.

The Trueno is not a bad looking little car... That Mitsubishi off-road truck is pretty cool. I wouldn't mind driving around in that. Perhaps the only Mitsubishi that, if I owned, I wouldn't call "Zero". I would call it Peggy instead!

Practically the only way you can make a JDM car legal here is by swapping VIN plates, and some people dont feel like going to prison over a car.

You have obviously never heard of North Carolina. Registering a "JDM" car is a simple transaction at the tag office RHD and all

Shweet. Doesn't it have to be federalized though? Or is that little nicety overlooked? I suppose once it's in the states and registered, it's in for good. I guess. It's stupid but I want that ridiculous Mitsubishi monstrosity. It's so ugly it's cool!

What's up with the two different exhaust tips? That's ghetto ...

I see quite a few skylines (older models) running the streets here in Tennessee.
They have plates on them, and inspections stickers.

I assume they are JDM, the steering wheel is on passenger side.
