2nd Generation hi need some info about about engine conversion

hey wats up guys im new to this site and i need some help and information. well to start off i have a 91 mr2 non-turbo and i was planning to drop a 3sge 3rd gen engine to replace my 5sfe, but I've been doing some research and i am a little confuse. some say that you can use the same parts from a 5sfe engine to a 3sge engine and still be compatible but other's say that u need to change all the parts like the wire harness ecu, fuel pump, etc... so im a little confuse. can anyone help me?

*im changing my non-turbo engine for a naturally aspirited non-turbo engine, not for a turbo engine (sometimes people get mistaken). please help, any kind of info would be helpful Peace.

*oh and also where can i find one for cheap????? lol!!!

Going to the 3rd gen 3SGE is a lot harder than a 3SGTE swap... mainly because they are a lot less common this side of the sea. It is pretty hard to find a complete clip for a 3SGE without something wrong with it, and finding parts when that piece is wrong... can prove difficult.

You should talk to Jeevy @ ETL Garage in La Habra. 909-802-3156. He is in the process of doing a 3rd gen 3SGE swap right now. He will probably be able to give you some pointers.
