mr2 misfires if reved quickly

Hey my mr2 turbo just had the engine rebuilt, I can only rev it slowly to reach redline, if you rev it quickly it will start to misfire at 6500rpms and not let it continueing to rev. When your driving it it will just fall flat when starting to make boost. do you guys know what it could be. its a '91 mr2

Thanks...
Dan.

I would try replacing your plugs, wires, rotor and cap. Sounds like the symtoms of old ignition parts.
