2nd Generation longblock? Core?

Hey wats up guys im back ne ways i have a question, what comes with a longblock and a core????? cuz im trying to buy a engine but all i could find is an engine longblock or core and its kind of cheap but dont know what it has. can anyone help? thanx

Long block usually refers to a complete head and block.
A short block refers to a complete block basically your lower rotating assembly.
I don't beleive that any engine accesories are included but I could be wrong.
Doesn't hurt to ask the seller.

"core" means you pay extra money that is refunded to you when you return your old longblock.


a longblock is the cylinder block and cylinder head, assembled, with all internals and no bolt ons (manifolds, fuel rail, oil pan, etc...) you transfer all your old bolt ons from your old longblock to the new longblock.
