i just bought my mr2. its 91 with tubro. i want to buy something to mod my car. what kind blow off is good, what brand. also i want to buy short short shif, i got b&m, is it good? also for speakers, is the car has stock subs??? if i want to put a small sub in my car, where is the spot to do it. thanks a lot guys. i hope i can have answers soon. i really love this car!!!
Welcome to TN! And congrats on your purchase of your MR2 Turbo.
But in the future, you want to write in lower case.
OK, There are many decent BOV's out there. But as a mod, it won't really give you any gains. If you're wanting to add more HP, you need to make sure the engine is mechanically sound, also the cooling system, brake system, etc. as you will be putting more stress's on the car .
There is a stock 6" sub behind the driver seat. It comes out easily and can be replaced with what ever you think you can squeeze in there. You might can get an 8" in there.
thank you so much, but you think like rims, blow off, body kit, and short shift are ok to mod right? for the engine i dont think i will mod a lot like RX-7. so you think im having some right ideas?
As for the mods it all depends on what you are looking for and what kind of money you want to spend! if you are happy right now with the performance then i would say yeah go with the bodykit and rims. The main thing that the blowoff valve isgoing to give you other then the sound is the ability to keep the bosst from spiking a little bit but with the factory motor you dont really need to worry about that. as for the sub i made some custom boxes and fit 10s behind the seats and at JL 12 WO8 between the two seats on the arm rest! it was loud as fuck they are gone i needed the money to play with the motor. but it is deffinatly able to fit a 10"sub. good luck

An 8" sub is a royal pain in the ass to cram in there! The enclosure isn't very large to begin with! Wouldn't suggest it!!!!!

^ ur prolly right. Though I did say "might"..
I believe the stock one is 6". I'm sure if you did it would take some cutting. I just wouldn't wanna give up anymore space . There's not much to give up in the 1st place
well thank you guys. i dont think i will do the sub or any cutting on my car for now. unless the sub broke. also just got my short shift, i love it. buy pair head lights now, but could not find what size the bulb is. also if i install the perjector are the bulbs size same as the stock one or can i change the head light to HID?
