3sgte dual runner manifold

The other day I saw a side fed manifold with dual runners, but I've never seen it before nor do I know what car is goes to. I thought all 3sgte's have the center fed kind.

Does anybody know what the side fed goes to?

Someone might have swaped a 3S-GE manifold. Easier to run IC pipe.

That's what I was thinking, but I've never seen one to the celica. I'mma poke around to see if its true, cause then it'll be easier to get a side fed one instead of T fed.

I heard that with the side fed dual runner manifold, that the two closest cylinders get leaned out and bad things happen. Is that true, if anyone can find out?

i believe that happens worse with the center feed manifold. it leans out cylinders 2 & 3 slightly. the stock fuel rail leans out cylinders 3 & 4.

i've never seen a factory 3SGTE manifold that is a side feed. there are many aftermarket manifolds that are side feed.

I dunno. I'm still looking into it. But I said what the guy with it said it 'could' be from.

Dont worry, research is the key, which I'm still doing.

okay, reason i ask is because only the n/a 1991 MR2 had a side feed manifold, but it was a single runner design. can you post a picture of the manifold in question?
