i was wondering, i've heard that people put a 6 speed into their gen 1 mr2's but i cant find no info on it. now i'm wondering if they put the blacktop or slivertop trans into the car? i'm planning to put a blacktop into my mr2 soon and wouldn't mind having a 6 speed since there faster. sorry to to be a bother but i'm getting really into the mr2's now. i also did a search and again came up with nothing.

Its an easy process. Get the celica GTS six speed and swap the bell from your C50, no biggie. If you get the one from the celica the shift linkage is already on the correct side. Do a search on ebay for celica mr2 6 speed or something like that. I have seen a few on there.
