ok, i hear alot of different things on this. stock boost for the 3rd gen is 13-14psi. so what can i up the boost to where it would be safe. how much boost can a 3rd gen withstand?

lol, whats up hommie. well right now i have tanabe downpipe, hks cam gears, hks thick headgasket. boost controller. then when i get the money im going to get that intercooler and exhaust, that maybe you can help me out with.

As far as I know the stock boost is the same as all other 3sgte's... but the fuel cut is set higher. Before you touch the boost, you need to get a boost gauge. That will solve your main problem. You should be able to safely run 15psi. With that intercooler and maybe some WI for protection you can run 18 or so.

sorry, i forgot to put these down. i have boost gauge, oil temp and exhaust temp. right now im running 14psi. its fine. but just wanted to now how far i can push it. where do you get your stuff done at. to your car that is. i have an exhaust leak right now and would like to fix it.

Leak due to what, bad gasket or cracked pipe?

if i remember right the leak is from the upper cat to the dowmpipe. when the downpipe was installed they strpiied something. so i hear a little wistle when the car is warmed up. its starting to piss me off.
