There are 3 different primary versions of the CT26.

The MR2 uses a twin entry housing with a double wastegate flapper.

A CT25A is used on the supra and has the same turbine and center section. The compressor wheel is larger and the turbine housing is a single entry type.

the CT20B is a ceramic turbo found on later model MR2's and celicas.

well this is quite interesting..... is the center section on this the same as the other ct26's?

mainly i ask because i have an OLDER ct20 (from a non-us 3tgte) that at some point in the future would like to upgrade the intake wheel & housing to something a bit bigger....

i believe the center section is the same as the ct20 that came on the 22rte....

is your exhaust housing still good? if so you can swap the center section and compressor housing from a 7mgte motor and give yourself an upgrade.

google "stage 0 upgrade"

dont buy a supra turbo..waste of money just send in your mr-2 turbo and have the comp. wheel replaced with a bigger trim this is what i did when i bought my jdm rear(turbo was chewed up on both sides) i had it board to a 50 trim and new exhaust wheels was 750$,so it will be less then that, pulls at 3000rpm and belive me it pulls ALOT harder..and you would have a brand new turbo basically

i already did

i did bougth the supra turbo, now i want to do the rebuild, but im not shure if if its worth to spend $300 extra for the bigger compresor wheel job, instead for the SIMPLE rebuild, imean, ihave a bigger turbo already,(with maybe 2 psi more capable) and it spools faster dosent it? ...dosent it?

you dont need to get a bigger comp wheel i was just saying it dosent cost alot more and it is easy power if your getting a rebuild anyway and if you want to get a upgraded turbo you may not have to because this one i got can run up to 20 psi(as they said never tried) but if you want to leave it like it is you defintly wont have to worry about your turbo for a very long time
