2nd Generation My Mr2 keeps blowing ecu-ig 7.5 amp fuses!!!

When I start my car the ecu-ig 7.5 amp fuse in the rear engine bay blows and my cars voltage drops down to about 7.22 volts it doesnt even have enough power to turn on my headlights. Any ideas on what this could be. I replaced the battery cables and battery and had the alternator tested. Please Help!!!!!

2nd Generation Cooling fan ECU IS BURNT!

Its when i turn my igniton. but i think i know what the problem is. The cooling fan ecu box in the trunk it burnt real bad and spells like its burnt. it controls the intercooler fan, but i found out that the ecu-ig 7.5a fuse controls my intercooler fan, alternator and backup lights. I turned my ignition switch with the cooling fan ecu disconnected and the 7.5a fuse didnt blow. I plug in the cooling fan ecu and turn the ignition switch and it blows the 7.5a fuse right away!

Cooling Fan part number

i wouldn't think it would cause any lag. if it did cause lag it shouldn't be very noticable! all that fan does is kick on when the engine bay temp. rises above a certain temp to cool the air charge going through the IC a bit.
i haven't had my fan running for about a year! damn thing locked up on me... =\

on another note since the factory IC isn't very efficient, added cooling to the air charge is a big plus!

yo look dude dont unplug that intercooler fan any more go out grt the parts you need. your risking your engine. because the intercooler fan ecu box was burned it adds excessive resistance in the wires. therefore blowing the fuse like its supposed to. fuses are protection devices. belive me if to much power goes to the comp ecu then your going to be shit out of luck cuz they are hard to find. just get the parts you need and preform electrical teast on all your wires from all swiches fuses and relays. find out why the parts went bad in the first place. peace have fun
