So far, there seems to be only one other person with some common sense on this thread.

First of all you need to find out what the error code is. Follow the instructions in this link to read the code yourself. Secondly, the best replacement for you bov is the oem toyota valve. If you want to go aftermarket make sure you recirculate it.

whoa... first i'll assume you have an OBD I computer by the way this sounds.

next how do you kno your blow off broke? what is you not achieving enough boost. what if your waste gate isn't working. if there anything else wrong with the car that you notice? maybe your turbo isn't spooling properly.

first thing is take your car to auto zone like the man suggested and get the code read for free. i mean OBDI is really easy to trigger the ECM to display the code and all you have to do is look it up.

but my main suggestion is anything you buy for that car. do it for performance or effienciency purposes. not to make it sound cooler in front of you friends. MR2's are respectable imports.... we don't need to loose that rice'ing it out

Lightbulb okok

i went to auto zone checked out everything, the engine light on is not from the BOV, but the BOV is not working anymore for sure, cuz the spring is not good. i fixed the engine, but want to buy a new BOV, which one is good for now.

my engine is ok too, just a pip is losing air, so is not a big deal they said. thanks

heh...you want a loud aftermarket bov? get a greddy type s and get hard pipes it will be ALOT louder then the hks ssq but mr-2 dont like a bov so get some other things upgraded on it so you dont code after code

btw it is a high pitch noise but i am guessing you liek that because the hks ssq is to

or you can go to this site to try and find one that will resemble what you want
http://www.935motorsports.com
click on bov and any of the names then click on sound and video clips

p.s click on the supra greddy type s 7mgte to4e hardpipes LOUD lol

look here

look here buddy the reason why the check engine light is comming on is because your blow off is not doing what its supposed to. it is not releasing pressure. the computer is sensing that replace the blow off valve and clear the code you will be ok buddy
