Gen1 Hub Question

I got question on ebay that I don't know the answer of and was wondering if someone could give me a quick hand.

I recently parted out an 85 MR2. I am selling all parts off of it on eBay and I know for sure that the front hubs will work on an 85 - 86 MR2. I said in the auction I was unsure about 87-89. Someone said they REALLY need to know if the hubs will work on 87-89.

Does anyone know if they do? This is the front hubs that the question is about.

Thanks!

According to the EPC, the part number for the front hub is the same from 85 to 89. Partznet cross-references it the same. The part number is 43502-17010. For reference, the Partznet price is $88.35.

Do you know for the rears? Because now I don't know which ones he needs now because I (my bf was half asleep when he was helping me ID parts) realized I listed the auction wrong showing a picture of the front hubs but calling them the rear ones.

Are the rear hubs the same from 85-89?

It's a little harder to tell with that one. The EPC part number was the same for 85-89 (43502-20030) but Partznet shows that was superceded by part number 43502-12110 which is described as HUB S/A, FR AXLE. The same part number cross references to this: Front suspension - Brake components - Hub Hub Back 1988 - 1991 . The Partznet price for that part number is $48.86.

That's easy. Just say you don't know. The buyer should be the one researching it IMO.

no.... rear hubs are NOT the same from 85-89 regardless of what part companies say

85-86 had different rear hubs than 87-early 89.... late 89 actually has 85-86 hubs
